Business Opportunity

New visionaries wanted for established business!

We have been associated with Marple Health for about 30 years.
It is over 14 years since we revitalised it and made it our own.
We have now reached the time where we need to wind down and retire very soon, but without winding up the business.
So we are seeking a fresh visionary to take Marple Health forward with a fresh dynamic and utilise the potential that we see but no longer have the energy to pursue.

If you or anyone you know might be interested and keen on increasing the knowledge of our range, then speak to us.
(It would be possible to enrol on easy-to-follow courses with some of our best-known suppliers).]

Thank you, Jean and John.

Crude Honey

Nick Horne is the man behind Crude Honey and he has been driving for Lembas for the last year

His honey is unpasturised, unblended and collected from single apiaries located in and around Sheffield.

Nick has been keeping bees for 10 years and will be running a Bee Keeping course for Beginers this Spring!

Oh and Nick...where can we buy your honey?

".....All our honey is cold extracted - we don't pasteurise our honey.  This means that it is a raw product.

We label our honey with the predominant flavour. However, depending on the time of year that the nectar is collected by the bees, different forage becomes available, resulting in subtle changes in flavour. - It depends on when the sun shines so the flowers can give nectar, some plants can have blossoms that continue for several weeks.

We don't blend our honey, each super box is extracted separately and jarred and labelled with the predominant flavour, with the area from where it was harvested. We feel this makes our product unique and truly artisan.

Using honey in cooking

When substituting honey for sugar in baking, be aware that honey can cause excess browning and moisture. As a general rule, use 3/4 cup of honey for every one cup of sugar, reduce the liquid in the recipe by 2 tablespoons and lower the oven temperature by approx.15 degrees Celsius.

Use honey to sweeten your dressings or marinades.

Stir honey into coffee or tea.

Drizzle honey onto yogurt, cereal, oatmeal for a more natural sweetener......."

...yeah nice one Nick...but where can we buy your lovely honey mate?

...ah I can just see it see in the image supplied below.  You should email Nick to place an order or phone him!
